Indeed, Sony have not got the best reputation when it comes to hiding software on your PC - rootkits anyone!

I now avoid all Sony products like the plague after they did that.
To think they would stoop so low as to using rootkits as you've mentioned.
They did pay a fine for doing that,didn't they?

Their blank media isn't any good either.
I bought 300 cd's,also 300 dvd's once,Sony brand,because they were on sale.
I gave 590 of them away.
Pure garbage.
I'll stick with Verbatim.
