Have you heard any of the "Mudcrutch" cd? Petty got back together with his pre-Heartbreakers band, Mudcrutch. Not bad...it's a pretty strong effort and, while it's not classic Petty, it's well worth listening to.

Thanks for the recommend...Love this album,Country Rock at its best.
Emphisis on the rock.It transforms you back to 1974 when the band first started and country rock was just being formed as a genre.
Even has 2 songs from former Bryds, Gram Parsons and Roger McQuinn.

If you didn't remind me that this was out,I might have missed this one.
