OK so explain a little bit more.
Hi there,
It's anything really - anything from any era that you would describe as "trippy." For instance, I'd say The Sun Is Rising by The Beloved is trippy. So is All Along The Watchtower by Hendrix but, then again, so is Trouble Man by Marvin Gaye. Same goes for a lot of reggae stuff.
A year or two ago I compiled a CD of psychedelic music and some of my friends say it's their favourite "album". I keep trying to repeat that success but I can't find as many good tracks. I just thought people here might know a few tracks that I don't know about.

You said some older "trippy" stuff so....

I'd go with anything Budgie up thru the "Impeckable" release. Start with Bandolier but all early (Tony Bourge era) Budgie is excellent.

Robin Trower "In City Dreams" and "Caravan to Midnight" are also pretty trippy good.

i enjoy The Isley Brothers cover of "Summer Breeze" and Luna's "Tiger Lily Girl".

Thanks Kaeli,

I'm a big Robin Trower fan and have a lot of his stuff. Haven't heard Budgie though, so that's another one to explore.

Lucky you!

A Budgie newbie! - be prepared to discover some awesome music that is well over 25-30 years old. But you have to stay with the stuff from Impeckable (1978) backwards up to their first release (Budgie 1971), they got pretty sloppy after that (which is also after Tony Bourge, the guitar maestro, left the group).
If you like Trower, you'll like Budgie! If you like Rush, you'll really like Budgie. (Burke Shelley and Geddy Lee are twin sons of different mothers).
