Trippy tracks - 10-05-2008, 08:17 PM

I'm hoping to compile a CD of "trippy" tracks - rock, blues, reggae . . . whatever. Anyone have any suggestions?

"Journey to the Center of Your Mind"-The Amboy Dukes (Ted Nugents fisrt band in the 60's)

"Open My Eyes"- Nazz (Todd Rundgrens first band in the 60's)

Find them on the compilation called Nuggets Vol 1 - 4 with similiar
type of garageband,60's trippy singles.

Eight Miles High---The Byrds

Thanks Nightfly,
I thought you'd know a few. Looking At Tomorrow by The Beach Boys (from Surf's Up) is a good one as well. I wonder if anyone's making that type of music these days?

Yes, good idea, although I probably have a few of those tracks already.

Yes, thanks, a lot of Jefferson Airplane's stuff would be suitable - and I was also hoping to hear about some more recent music. Maybe something more obscure.

Gaucho I'm not 100% sure what you are looking for, I don't think it is stuff like from the "psychedelic" era.

OK so explain a little bit more.
