Wolf Hoffman - Classical Metal - 11-29-2007, 09:26 AM

I am probably going to get banned for this, but I quite like the 2000 release Wolf Hoffman "Classic" album that has just been listed on Sparks/MM.

Don't bother, I'll find my own way to the banning thread

I am a very big fan of Nightwish, this equals to Metal/Opera/Classical all at the same time.

I will have a look at your "Classic"

Sounds OK on preview, downloading as we speak.

Remember, Wolf is much, much cheaper on mp3sale/mp3fiesta.com

"Classical" by Wolf Hoffmann was better than I was expecting, some great guitar work to say the least, well worth the money.

It's been pretty quiet in the banning room recently; I was thinking about putting up a Christmas tree soon.
This thread and the one Frunze started (Coco De Mer & remix of Carmen) got me to thinking about other 'classical' tracks which have been rehashed by modern day artists. On the Wolf Hoffman album track 3 'Habanera' I recognised as being other re jigging of Carmen (Aren't you impress with me Nightfly). I will be partying with squash in the banning room because I like both versions, but does anyone else have any other examples of artists redoing the classics? My favorite is Rufus Wainwright's 'Oh What A World' (great cover version of Ravel's Boléro, much better than the original). Any others,
Cheers,
Dave C

I kinda like Bond. Hot chicks with electro violins. Download the Best of Bond.

I am always happy to party in the banning thread - particularly with Squash, whom I can still not ascertain as being male or female!

Also, download "Beethoven's Last Night" by Trans Siberian Orchestra. I love it!!!

They seem to like their Christmas albums. Reminds me that I need to put the 'Holidays' Genre back on to my ipod and get it updated,
