I just like dynamic playlists. And then I have playlists made out of playlists made out of playlists I set them up at some point long long long time back and it makes it super easy to listen to "favourites", "new", "haven't listened to in a long time", etc.

Hope your ipod synced OK overnight, Dave, and hope your issues with itunes/mm have been resolved

Personally, I use itunes on a PC and have never had a problem with it (touch wood)

Things went pretty smoothly, and I now have some of my music back on my ipod (only made a very quick run through my music putting ~20gb on). Tonight I will sorting out plugins & playlists (God I need to get out more),
Cheers,
Dave C

Thumbs up Like it so far - 05-01-2008, 10:12 PM

Still early days, but I think I am going to really like MediaMonkey. Hardly touched the surface of what it can do, but the 'Auto-tag from the Web..' if a fantastic tool (and I thought my albums were tagged pretty well). Only issue I have got so far is that when I sync my ipod, all of the play counts are downloaded to MM fine, but they are not scrobbed to last.fm. Have asked a more relevant forum if this is possible, and I am sure someone is going to look at that question in the same way I do when someone here posts 'how do I fund my mp3sparks account?'.
Cheers,
Dave C

Great to hear that you like MediaMonkey, Dave

Hope you get your last.fm issues sorted out - if their forum is as helpful as this one, you will have no trouble
