Hi Bobwhite

When I wrote my post #5,000 (http://www.aom3.org/forum/27741-post1.html ), it was about two very useful PC tweaks, whereof the second of those two was concentrated on the Firefox extension called CustomizeGoogle

Later in that same thread I listed (using Infolister ) some of my other Firefox extensions and plug-ins (a list which has grown since ) but whereas many of these extensions are different degrees of useful - precious few are downright indispensable.

The following four extensions are just that (i.e. vital or unimaginable to live a healthy Internet life without) and make a humongous difference to the experience of Internet browsing:

* Adblock Plus 0.7.5.3
* CustomizeGoogle 0.71
* IE Tab 1.3.3.20070528
* Session Manager 0.6.1.13

These clearly make an enormous difference too:

* Adblock Filterset.G Updater 0.3.1.3
* Bookmark Duplicate Detector 0.6.3
* Bookmarks LinkChecker 0.6.8.4
* Download Statusbar 0.9.6.1
* Fasterfox 2.0.0
* FavLoc 1.1
* FlashGot 0.8.8
* Free Download Manager plugin 1.3.1
* InfoLister 0.9f.2
* New Tab Button on Tab Bar 2.0
* PDF Download 1.0.1.1
* Restart Firefox 0.3
* Speed Dial 0.7.0.8
* Torbutton 1.0.4.01
* Tree Style Tab 0.6.2008031101

These sometimes make Internet life easier:
* Auto Shutdown - InBasic 3.0.1B
* domainFinder 0.3
* Download Sort 2.5.7
* DownloadHelper 3.0.3
* Enhanced Bookmark Search 0.1.4.04.1
* FEBE 5.3.1
* Firefox Companion for eBay 1.1.1
* Flagfox 3.2.1
* Foxmarks Bookmark Synchronizer 2.0.45
* Gmail Manager 0.5.4
* Gmail Space 0.5.92
* Image Download 1.0.2
* IMDb Preview 0.4.3
* Java Console 6.0.03
* Locate in Bookmark Folders 0.2.5
* Location Navigator 0.6.2
* M3U Ripper 1.5
* MR Tech Local Install 5.3.2.6
* NetMarks Manager 3.2
* ResizR 0.2
* ScrapBook 1.3.3.1
* SpiderZilla 1.6.0
* Séparé 0.1.6
* Update Notifier 0.1.5.3
* URL Fixer 1.4.3

I have 25 or so other (mostly inactive) extensions - but they are mostly inactive for a reason

Do you have all your apps strapped down like that?
You also probally have a dual-core processor running all threads wide open constantly,with a 24" house fan blowing into the open case to keep everything cool.
Am I right?Am I right?

To add to Solaris' long list:

Foxytunes ( I am surprised it was not mentioned)

Have fun - Mark

It's one of my inactive ones - alongside Tab Mix Plus, which I just haven't had the patience to tweak right yet...
