Free Internet Window Washer 2.0 - 08-17-2007, 01:37 AM

There is a free application I use called
Free Internet Window Washer 2.0
That will clean out all your Windows Temp Files- Internet Cache- Cookies
plus more Safely and Quickly.

I have been using it for about 2 years. I use it whenever my
net paging seems to be slowing down..I do a clean and you
would be amazed of the built up files in IE cache.
Afterward my internet paging goes a great deal faster and smoother.

We talk often about clearing out your cache on this site..Here's a program
that will do that and your whole computer with one click..

Check out the site and see if this program is right for you ..This is the link:

Free Internet Window Washer: A free window washer and internet eraser software.

Dear Nightfly,

As an alternative to yours, I have used this one (CCleaner) for many years, I use it everyday, just before I turn off my computer. It does all your tasks and much more, it is also free.

CCleaner - Home

This other free program (Everest Home Edition)I have used for a long time, will tell you everything about your computer, even temperatures!

|MG| Free Download - EVEREST Free Edition 2.20

I would not be without either of these two free programs!

Dave ...you can select only the things you want washed...I wouldn't want all
those things cleaned on that list either...yikes.

Why use this when you can go to Internet Options in Internet Explorer 7 (or right click>Properties), click Delete in Browsing history and then "Delete all" (that deletes lots of temp stuff but keeps passwords).

Another good thing to do is right click on your main hard disk, go to Properties, and click on Disk Cleanup. It'll scan unneeded files like temp files still there after program installations. Once it's done its thing, tick all the boxes that don't have 0 and start the disk cleanup. Depending on how much you've installed, you can get rid of between a few megabytes to several gigabytes.

You are quite right..but theses apps. clean out other areas as well, check out the sites for more info...but your way is safe and convenient ..I use
mine for speed and conveinece...but every way suggested, is a good
way to get a important maintenance job done on a regular basis.
