I recently had a bunch of problems with the metadata of my songs, losing most covers and lots of song data. While re-tagging all of my songs I tried to think of ways to prevent this in the future. Are there any programs that I can use to keep backups of all my metadata in case this happens again?

I'm looking for something that if this happens again I can just go to the program, click a button, and have it rewrite all my songs to the way they were before. Does anyone know of a program like this?

That particular program seems to be for backing up metadata stored in Windows Media Player, but there's another one on the same site that claims to back up ID3 tags directly from mp3s http://dalepreston.com/Blog/2007/01/...-id3-tags.html

There is also a raw tag viewer http://www.dalepreston.com/Blog/2007...ag-viewer.html which looks useful. I haven't tried these.
