Tor isn't actually owned by anyone; servers are run by well-meaning volunteers - and also by feds, spooks and hackers. It was one of the latter who got his collar felt in Germany recently for intercepting traffic. So no, it's not a good idea to send usernames and passwords over Tor. And my post wasn't entirely serious

Darn, I thought I'd get Solaris to send me the brooklyn bridge coordinates after I sent him my offshore account information using Tor! Just kidding. You know, you have probably educated me more about parallels, Tor, and a few other things along the way in the last few months than everyone else in my entire life - my marketing background is pretty much useless when it comes to computers!
