Exclamation Question for the PC Savvy on Here... - 07-01-2008, 12:30 PM

...I am having a small problem at the moment which only seems to affect Ebay to Paypal.
What happens is I buy something on Ebay, press the next button which should take me to my Paypal sign in page, then the page hangs and times out.
This happens sometimes but not all times, I have done the usual of empty my cache etc, I have changed DNS settings and at the moment I am on Open DNS, thanks to Solaris on here.
This morning I have gotten around it by using TOR (thanks again to this site), although slower it went straight in no problem?

Thank you.

I googled up a few links discussing Paypal Timeout problems.

Here're some :-

PayPal Time Out
PayPal payment problem

All they seem to suggest is to clear cache, which you've already done.

Whoa, whoa, whoa - You are threading on a REALLY thin line now, my friend

Men rule the world - and women rule their men. So do women REALLY have anything to complain about?

Any answers to the original question?

I thought I did answer right after you posted it too?

The problem is at the PayPal end and seems fairly common. I sent you a couple of links which clearly outline the steps to follow. They suggest clearing cache and temporary files, and make sure cookies are enabled, and checking your computer's clock is set correctly. In other words - the usual.
