And yes, he must be smoking something to come up with "volk ispolnennyi ochei".

I knew someone told me that story about hanging out with him, but I couldn't remember who. So, it's you.

What film?

alphabetical problems - 06-13-2008, 05:53 AM

Hi Frunze,

If I get this right what you need to do is:

1. Create playlist in iTunes
2. Import music into iTunes
3. Do a search for the music
4. Click track number (#) under the view section (near the top of the iTunes
window)
5. Select all the music that you searched for
6. Drag all of no.5 into your newly created playlist
7. Connect ipod and manually transfer the playlist into your ipod
8. And you know the rest

Hi archon,
so there is no way to just make it have albums recognize the tracks? That's a bummer. Are you saying the only way for me to have the tracks in order is to create playlists?

Groupies sleep with rockstars because they are famous. We are into music. We inspire the music.

Almost famous! Like me.

OK I got one for you: А что это за шаги такие на лестнице? What comes after this? And don't touch that google!!

hi Frunze,

i too have been down this road.

the only way i figured out how to place the tracks in order was to go into the song properties and rearrange the track tags.

for example, you would go into the first track on the cd and place a 1, go into song 2 and place a 2 for track 2, you get my drift. this process is time consuming but its the only way i have done it.

i really think that it's a bummer that the songs don’t load onto an ipod in the same order as the cd.

anyways hope this helps somewhat.

Chad,

I think the reason your tracks play in alphabetical order by song name is when you download them from MM, there are no track numbers. I think in Frunze's case, she does have track numbers, but her iPod mysteriously sorts it alphabetically anyway.

hi vik,

i have ripped cds in then imported them into itunes and then uploaded them onto my ipod with the same result. itunes always places them on my ipod in alphabetical order...what do you do? i dont care any more, i used to go in and edit the track tags but i just gave up.

cr

ps i love the new coldplay album
