Are The Beatles Remasters actually the remasters? - 09-09-2009, 03:31 PM

I've just downloaded The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour Remaster, and I'm a bit worried about it. First Fool On The Hill isn't - it's a rather odd reggae type tune, and I'm a bit suspicious that these actually are the remasters: they sound very much like the 1990s CDs.

Anyone agree?

They are showing as the "new" 2009 remastered versions, but who knows, not often they get new albums this quick.
I take it you downloaded in 320kbps.

P.S. Welcome to the forum.

Procol Harum's A Whiter Shade of Pale is the most played song in public places in the last 75 years, according to a chart compiled for BBC Radio 2. (April 2009)

Thanks for the welcome.

Yes I did d/l in 320.

I was suspicious at the speed at which they appeared. I know that allofmp3 is of dubious legality and morality, but I hoped they would draw the line at ripping off their customers too.

Are you talking about Mp3sparks?

Allofmp3.com no longer exists...which site are you talking about...????

There is also a Allofmp3.org which is in existence and is not a recommend site by us.

Sorry if I'm using the wrong name. I use Alltunes. Is that recommended?

Yes it's the same thing as Mp3sparks and they have a excellent reputation
for quality downloads. You should write their assistance if you are having any problems.

Yes, I've just listened to it on Alltunes, and it's OK now. My download is a completely different song. It's 5.95mb and on Alltunes it's now 7.0mb.

Let Assistance know and they will fix it. I had many errors with tracks on different albums and each time they corrected the error and reimbursed me for the track.
