Less than a month ago I dropped a note to Ao3 Assistance requesting they add three particular albums to the catalog. They responded with thanks and a pledge to consider the additions. Since then, two of the three have been added; the latest release by Pinback a few days ago, and tonight I see the first release by Vanilla Fudge. Pretty cool, and much appreciated to feel like the service pays attention to it's customers.

Both releases, BTW, are highly recommended. The last request, Joe Walsh's Barnstorm, may be tougher to find, and I no longer need it from Ao3 anyway.

11 days ago I requested a special album and today they add it to the catalog.

MP3Sparks was the last shop where I requested the album, the only one who send a reply and the first who add it to the catalog. Thumbs up!

Soundsbox - never get a reply, album not added
MP3sale - no reply, not added
MP3Stor - asked at least 10x - no reply, not added

That's another reason why MP3Sparks was my favorite MP3 store.

Guilty as charged! Given that the Pinback release is recent, I didn't know if my request made any impact, but when the Vanilla Fudge release showed up, I saw that I may be getting more attention than I expected.

hey solaris i guess seems as how you seem to answering everything!
after being a very happy allofmp3.com cust and then after it went down - last week i got on mp3sparks and my account had been transferred even with the last dollar of credit i had on it! spent that and now i cant top up the account - credit card function is down - links to cmpass or wotever it is when you go there says temporaily down also. any ideas on how i can how add credit and get more music?

No, presently we don't know of any options to replenish your balance with MP3Sparks - unless you are a MemphisMember with a club credit
