Way before that.

Seriously, I still have my first PC stored in the attic somewhere. It's a Microbee and cost more than a decent car at the time. I had a choice of hard drives - 5 or 10 MEGABYTES. At the time the salesman said I would be mad to go for the 10mb as I would not fill the 5mb "in my lifetme".

So what did you go for - 5 or 10?

I was very young, so I went for the 10mb. Then I was more of a 'quantity over quality' person.

Maybe someone should start a new thread?
I guess this is what happens when you start mixing your oggs with your mp3s.

Blame Solaris (I warned this would happen).

Back on topic - buy your wife a nice, sexy looking, portable player with a colour screen and a BIG hard drive and she will love you for it

Marital bliss AND a way to play your digital music through your Hi Fi

But you have come up with a practical solution that I thought
this thread covered nicely...
