I stumbled onto this singer browsing online recently when I previewed his cover of Leonard Cohen's "Suzanne". I really liked his version (sung in Dutch) and found myself listening to a lot of his other material available online. I have discovered he is well known, not only in his homeland (the Netherlands) but also Belgium and Germany. He is better described as an entertainer as he is a talented comedian as well as author (mainly children's books) and film-maker. He actually stikes me as a slightly eccentric Roald Dahl type.
