Thumbs up Karine Polwart - This Earthly Spell - 03-16-2008, 11:05 PM

Just in case anyone missed it, the new Karine Polwart album (This Earthly Spell) was release on mp3sparks yesterday. I have only given it one play so far, but it is already obvious that it is up the the excellent standard set by her previous albums (all of which can be found easily on the usual download sites). If you have never heard of her, she is fairly well known (in the UK) Scottish contemporary / country folk singer; great voice & lovely songs,
Cheers,
Dave C

Hi Dave,
I loved the track "Where The Smoke Blows" on her previous album. She's touring smaller venues in the UK right now.

I've never even thought of looking her up to see on tour. I will do that straight away,
Cheers,

Bloomsbury Theatre (London) is the only realistic place near me. Anyone ever been to a gig there,
Cheers,

Nope, that's a long way from me. Someone I know saw her the other night and said she was excellent.
