I will check out for some more new sounds and keep you informed.
Hi Bokr,
Thanks for adding the recommend. I ended downloading the whole "Brazil Do Futuro" album and added it to my Afro Latin playlist and it fits in really well.
Hope the small beach bar is still treating you well

Smile Great Feedback - 08-28-2007, 10:48 PM

Hirs,

Thank you for that wonderful feedback and the ones you picked,
I know you would like because they were picked specifically for you and the
car..The other selections were potentially for other members, I know The Buena Vista Social Club while a great album is not really party music..
and the Jazz stuff I had to put their names in a Latin review because
they are Legends..and yes I knew Yerba Buena "Follow Me" you would like..
I think everybody would like this one...great album.

You made your self quite a play-list there, I also liked bokr's recommends..

Take care and thanks again,

Nightfly

Hey, nice list, I'm going to check them out.

Two of my favourites on allofmp3 are:

Klazz Brothers & Cuba Percussion - Classic Meets Cuba

Tropicalia - A Brazilian Revolution in Sound

Both are great albums, both fortunately indicate the kind of music they are!

marc ribot is playing in tribute to the cuban bandleader Arsenio Rodriguez (successfully in 1930 till 1950) his guitar in a wonderful way. check this out.

Thanks bokr... Have this one. But this is a Great recommend for those who don't.
Marc Ribot is usually a really great rock guitarist playing with with a lot of top stars, but here he shines creating a modern Latin soundscape with traditional
overtones.

I think that Ry Cooder did a Album with Arsenio Rodriquez
with the same feel...I will get the title for you later.

Edit:My mistake: The album is:

Ry Cooder/Manuel Galban "Sinuendo" -- Manuel Galban played guitar with Arsenio Rodriquez's
band that was my confusion, but this recording has a really modern Latin sound..
very cool album ...check it out.
