So many of the posts on this site are about the inability and willingness to pay, particularly using credit cards. We all know what the problem is.

I'm sure that, like me, many people have online banking facilities. I can pay my bills and send money to individuals. All I need is a few numbers to identify the account, and a reference, which I can specify.

What's the problem with direct bank transfer to top up your balance? Surely someone can invent a model, say, based on references, which is reasonably secure?

bank transfer were avaliable at one time on aomp3. not sure if they still have them on sparks. the problem was that i think it took about a month from the time you wired the money to the time you received the balance refill. plus it was like 40.00 dollar transfer fee for a 25.00 dollar purchase.

i could be wrong but i think this is close to what the deal was.

Wire transfer is offered sometimes on MP3Sparks (I think it is IP address related). The time it takes should not so much be the problem (an international SWIFT transfer should take no more than 24 hours) but the cost of a transaction can easily be $40 or more - hardly worth it for a sum of less than a few hundred $...

actually all i can say is: Keep away from wire transfer to allofmp3. I made the transaction at my bank at Jun-4 and the money still has not arrived. It seems to me, that aomp3 had to to some manual work on that transactions and in the last weeks they had not the time to do this. Assisantance is answering after 2 weeks with "please wait". In the past i did 2 bank wire payments, they took 6 and 5 weeks (inside the EU !!!!!).

Hmm, yeah. That would certainly be a drawback. Another idea crashes and burns...

Nah, surely I've paid individuals in the US with a bank transfer before, free of charge? Suppose I should STFU and check first.
