The last few times I've logged on to MP3Stor, I've seen the possibility of replenishing your balance by mobile phone sms, but only when I used TOR and got a non-US / non-UK identity. I think the maximum you can pay is $10 and it seems an expensive way of doing it - but I didn't really investigate this payment method much.

TOR??? What's that?

Is it possible that I can only add $0,9 for my country? If I want to add $10, then I can't select my country ithe list...?

Anybody else who has this problem or knows a solution?

Kevin, When you downloaded TOR did you download it in a bundle with a programme called 'Privoxy'?

The following applied to PC, if you've got a MAC then I'm lost already:
Go to Start > All Programs > Vidalia Bundle > Privoxy and start Privoxy running. Hopefully it wasn't running and getting it running should see you right. If Privoxy was running already then I'm out of ideas.

If you can't see Privoxy then it might be worth downloading the bundle again.
Good luck

Kevin..If you are using FireFox you should have downloaded The Tor Button
which is part of The Vedalia suite ..if you have the button it is is in the
lower bottom right hand side..turn Tor off..You should have the Vedalia
Suite with Privoxy if you don't..I suggest you uninstall what you have and get
these 2 essential apps..But if you do have Vedalia their should be a green
onion icon with your starter tasks..right click on the icon and click
on stop ...this should stop Tor and bring you back to normal viewing..
Hope this helps..and if still help doesn't ...please post your question
under AllOfMP3 General Discussion where is will be more visible and you
will get help quicker..seen by more helpful members

back to this mobile phone thing? - 08-08-2007, 10:56 PM

mp3stor has the option of adding funding via your cell phone.
Has anyone explored the option?
I really don't trust the option because i've never heard of such a thing and my fear is i'll be bombarded with text message ads and whatnot, thus ringing up charges on my phone.

has anyone else explored it yet?
