So I've heard great things about Seva and soundsbox.com, and how they are very receptive to adding cd requests to their site, but I have yet to see this come to fruition. I have never requested a cd be added to any of the three sites I am a member of, but I emailed Seva last week regarding uploading an old Jimmy Buffet CD "You had to be there". He promptly emailed me back and said he couldn't locate it. Fair enough, so I sent him two links to other music services I don't have a balance with that have the CD(mp3sale.ru and walmart.com) but probably should. He promptly wrote me back and said no problem he would upload on Sunday. Well its Tuesday night here in the U.S. and I'm still waiting.

Seva, if you don't want to add the CD, that's fine, I'm sure that you get alot of requests for stuff you don't want to take the time to upload. Its ok to say no, but don't tell me you are going to upload it, and then blow it off. Hard to reccomend your site to anyone here at aom3.org with these practices.

I'm sure seva just forgot, since he probably has a lot to do. I guess that when he reads this, he'll remember and get it uploaded a.s.a.p.

Have to agree with solaris on this,Seva got busy and forgot..sometimes I get it the next day. Like I asked for the new Ben Harper over a week ago..I thought he forgot, he didn't...I had a pleasant surprise it was there yeterday..as I understand it ..it depends on their sources in our days we called them distributors..If the distributors don't have it, then the site has to request it to the distributor which holds things up,until they can get it to the customer.

I do not want to hijack this thread, just wanted to say that I got a Ben Harper album last week (There Will Be A Light) and was really impressed with it. I think I chose that one because he had an album released on mp3sparks a few days ago and after googling him, 'There Will Be A Light' came up as his 'best' album. Would you agree with this Nightfly, or are there better ones out there?

I guess I don't have much choice but to give him some more time, I would have been less upset if he told me he would upload it when he gets a chance instead of telling me he was uploading it last sunday. I'm sure I'm not his only request, so I will chill for now.

Without a doubt my favorite as well.. I love The Blind Boys from Alabama and love their gospel harmonies..Ben Harper used them well on "There Will be a Light" and featured them..If you like this album I suggest that you get all three of The Blind Boys from Alabama on Sparks all 3 contemporary Gospel
albums produced by rockers..all with great out comes..Traditional
with a little rockin kick...as far as Ben Harper goes his new one "Lifeline"
is very good Gospel/Soul,just got it and enjoy it...His Live one is very good it shows off his fine guitar playing. His other albums are good but inconsistent.

I do understand your point..but for instance one of my favorite sites
Emusic ..I ask for a request..they send me a cut and paste on how to use
the search interface. insulting, but hey that's life...some have given me no response at all..At least Seva has been responsive...
Everybody's perspective of time seems to be different,
even though it is the most finite thing in the universe.
So it would seem that your patience as a virtue attitude
is the best way to go.

this sucks but we cant upload it, one Ive been waitign for is not good enough and we cant put this on the site.
