I noticed after I had downloaded an album from Soundsbox that after importing the file into itunes the album had the correct album artwork. This is the 1st time having previously used mp3sparks, mp3fiesta, mp3sugar, millisong, gomusic, musicmp3, mp3stor that a file has ever contained the artwork.

I have in the past had to find the artwork on a site ie Amazon, ebay etc right click and copy and then import onto itunes. It would make life a lot easier if the sites had the artworks attached though manually importing is hardly difficult either. Any ideas why this one album had it but not others??

I dont see why you use amazon at all for this if you have iTunes account. Just mark all albums in iTunes, right click and then "find artwork" iTunes will do the rest

I found itunes not reliable in finding the album artwork. Especially for albums that they do not have in their library.

Apart from alltunes and soundsbox on the other sites I use right click and save to a particular file within my hard drive, I then left click and drag the file into itunes.
From personal experience I then have to type manually the name of the artist or tidy up the info ie bit rate, year, whether it is compilation etc. I let itunes then manage where the file is kept.

All my music I keep on an external hard drive linked to my desk top and I copy the files on my hard drive in constant use onto a separate hard drive which I only plug into the computer when in use for backing up purposes (Keep isolated to prevent corruption)

I then as previously said then copied the album artwork into the tracks as from experience when having completed a re boot of itunes and imported all my files had problems with only a select few art covers having copied across, I've then had to copy the artwork back into itunes again.

I don't profess to be computer expert but found the method seems to work!
