Thumbs up Old 97's ,Jazz and Reggae - 12-30-2007, 09:19 PM
I am a big fan of alternative country band Old 97's ..I was excited
to see their whole catalog in the the new arrivals today over at
Soundsbox along with some cool jazz tittles from Benny Carter
and Marcus Roberts and Horace Silver- Reggae tittles from Lee Scratch Perry
and Horace Andy with their Dub recordings.

From the Old 97's I recommend:
Wreck Your Life
To Far To Care
Fight Songs

Their leader Rhett Miller has a great voice and is really good songwriter,
and has a solo career with some cool albums.
