We don't buy albums, you're right about that but we get them from people who buy them. we have few sources for music and pay them all in bulk.
Does anybody check them from those people?

I found 2 entries for the B-52's "Time Capsule" album. This one is correct - but this one is missing tracks and has a track from a soundtrack that's not even on the album. The incorrect listing isn't an import or a different regional release, as far as I can tell.

For things like this - should an entry be made through the "assistance" dialog?

Trouble with Soundsbox - 07-24-2007, 02:07 AM

I just joined soundsbox. Everything was going fine... i purchased $50 worth credit and started shopping. I followed the instructions carefully and downloaded the appropriate programs (java, soundsbox downloader) it was all going fine until the very last step. My computer tells me it is trying to connect to their server to start the download, but it never connects. I did get 1 quick reply saying to restart my computer, which didnt help but that was it. Now i have $50 hanging out there with no songs and no idea what the problem is. Can anyone help me?

Sorry... - 07-24-2007, 09:31 AM

Sorry... i only posted my problem in 2 places. I just wanted to see if i someone here could help me. You have helped me understand that i cant download more than 150 songs at one time. Now i just need to find away to get the songs i already purchased in the large order earlier today. Thank you very much for the help. what to do about the large order... will you refund the money or credit my account, or is there a way to download that order in smaller size chunks. Thanks again.

Problem Solved - 07-24-2007, 04:41 PM

I would just like to say Seva was very helpful with my problem and i really appreciate it. I found out why my songs were not downloading and my account was credited back in less than 24 hours. Now i am up and running. For anyone considering using soundsbox i would but is not sure if it is safe or if you can get help if something goes wrong that is simply not the case.

Thanks again Seva!

I just signed up with SB. Looks like they use their own credit card processor rather than the company I know I can trust with my cc info when paying the country that knows how music download should be sold, and that company is none other than the fabulous Chronopay.

I have used SoundsBox since they started and haven't had any trouble with money mysteriously disappearing from my credit card.
