It is very difficult to sample tracks in SoundsBox site. Every 4 or 5 seconds the chosen sample track would stop playing for 1 second to continue where it left before. I contacted the people of this site to make them aware of this issue. And, they claimed that there is nothing wrong with their servers. They recommended to upgrade my Java suite and use explorer instead of Firefox. I bought music from other sites where track sampling was a non issue, but Soundsbox is the only mp3 site that is not being able to solve the track sampling.

I had the same problem, I was using Firefox and could not sample anything
but now that I use IE when viewing Soundsbox the sampler works fine
and is actually very clear sounding..but I have trouble scrolling new releases
in IE7 ..not smooth..so my trade off was that the sampler was more important
to me to sample some of the more esoteric realeases that look interesting.
I have mentioned this to Seva in the past and hope eventually his tech
support will straighten this out..They are now back on track..have you
seen all the really cool new stuff..lets hope that next, they work on these
glitches..

use IE for playing samples, personally I have it but it works. We don't have a clue why this doesn't work in Firefox, really doesn't make any sense at all

Download a plug-in for Firefox called IE Tab. Then you can open IE inside Firefox. That means everytime you open seva's site, it will believe that it is opened in IE You just have to add Soundsbox and those others, which opens best in IE to the IE Tab settings.

With IE tab the site doesn't recognize my original password. Can somebody help me to solve this issue.

Yes I just download IE Tab and It works like a charm..since I am a IE
user as well it reconised my id ..for you click on the IE tab Icon.. it will
return you back to Firefox side sign in..then click back on Icon to return to IE
you will see the e at the front of the address line ..once in the IE mode the sampler works fine and my
unsmooth page scrolling problem is also fixed..

Just wanted to point out that your link to IE Tab is the right one, if you have an English-US version of Firefox Otherwise just Google for it and Google will recognize your country of origin - and lead you the right way.

The IE tab still prevents me from accessing the site. Frankly, as a consumer, I shouldn't be concerned with technical details. The web designers at Soundsbox should be able to determine what causes track sampling interruptions.

Yes I agree with you...but this was offered, as work around until the
problem is fixed..and right now using IE is the only way I found to use the sampler..Just passing on what we know and have learned.
Hope this is worked out soon.
