reply to all concerning site design and flash... I'm in online shops and websites since year 2000 and some 15 websites behind me and all of them had 2-3 versions, with graphic, no graphic.. flash here or there...believe me I know what I'm doing and why site looks the way it looks . Site is attractive and all flashy but when you start browsing most of it is gone...only index page is like this. You'll have to agree with me when you're browsing first thing you notice is site design and quality and how much time was spent on it and this gives you some kind of certainty that it's not some shitty of fraudulent site like when you get on some really bad designed one that looks like anyone could make it (no matter it has 10mil songs or whatever)...you have to put on the side this forum and that you know about the site and that all works...just imagine you have run on soundsbox without anyone telling you...
Perfect design doesn't exist...only better and this one is when majority likes it.

This way I would like to ask you all what kind of music are you downloading...I have noticed that lot of downloads are for jazz so I did my best and manage to get tons of albums... My goal is to get rare stuff, commercial new stuff you can get on every place...so please help me out with this...post genres you would like to see or even artists lists (we cant get all but 60-70% we can)

I've been reading all these posts complaining about your website and just when I was debating whether to jump in, Nightfly did it for me - I echo all his comments. You're doing a great job and I've noticed how you keep adding things every day. You're also extremely responsive to posts and requests and feedback and I really appreciate that. As for favorite genres, I of course love jazz (and am looking forward to the rest of the new additions - the 1956 Porgy and Bess by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong is a real gem), and I also download World, Latin jazz, cabaret vocal, classical. I haven't seen any cabaret on your site yet. Keep up the good work!

Well Seva I just checked your site again and I still can't find the bit rates you talked about. And now you threaten me. Now that sounds like a really positive business attitude. Likewise you're threatening to fire your employees. Geez!

Look I can't find the cd quality (320kbps) bit rates you're talking about (except for one album). Now I was the one who started this thread and I ask people to keep to the programme and talk about the bit rate problem. Let's not get nasty, insulting or threatening.

Seva, if I was acting in a malicious manner, or an idiot for that matter, why would there be so many posters complaining about your site. Your site has problems and you need to address those problems not threaten people. For heaven's sake don't shoot the messenger just because you don't like the message.

And for the record I checked you link again and I found a several new albums at 192kbps and one album at 224 kbps and they were ALL new releases.

Now like Solaris I'm a teacher and I don't have the time to respond to everything that's posted on this site (ergo the delay in responding to your post). Either make it blatantly clear that the albums are at cd quality or don't, it's your decision. I thought there was a problem over the bit rates and I still think there's a problem. End of story and end of replies on my behalf!
