Had a lot of confidence that Seva and Soundsbox would work it out.

Enjoy,

Seva and Soundsbox are very responsive and helpful. I've never seen anything quite like it. I highly recommend them. And every day they add terrific new albums (I see your influence, Nightfly!).

I restarted, checked java again, deleted the old soundsbox downloader, and still the same result. I type in my e-mail, password and order number and it opens a window which say it is retrieving info from the server and that is it. that window stays open and nothing happens. Any help you could offer would be much appreciated!

...I have exactly the same problem...Cannot connect to the server...with $20 out there to spend. I am only downloading five songs....

I just wanted to chime in here. I haven't read all the posts to this thread so forgive me if I repeat something. I was sick of trying to refill my balance on alltunes/mp3sparks/allofmp3/ et al, so I wanted to find a new source for reasonably priced music. I saw that there were many services and I cannot speak for all of them but I liked the "Web 2.0" interface and adding funds was very easy. Maybe I will have stuff to complain about later on but paying only a couple of dollars for an album makes it worth it to me.

I did see complaints about the fancy webpage. If, down the line, Seva may want to investigate putting up a sister site that access the same userbase and song data but with a simplified interface. Something that can run through an anonmyizer for security. A lightweight interface that can be run from a smartphone. I don't know, just thinking aloud.

Anyways, thanks Seva.
