Bush Signs RIAA-backed Intellectual Property Law - 10-14-2008, 06:18 AM

From Cnet News
Quote:
President Bush on Monday signed into law an intellectual-property enforcement bill that would consolidate federal efforts to combat copyright infringement under a new White House cabinet position.

Insanity Reigns Supreme - 10-14-2008, 08:31 AM

I don't know why this is surprising to me, because Bush is quite possibly the one of the most illiterate, misinformed, ignorant, arrogant evil people on this Earth. Why not sign as many ludicrous laws into action right before he leaves so that his legacy of truly horrendous leadership will go out with a bang? Hey why don't we just make it illegal to buy music from anywhere but iTunes? Seeing that I live in the U.S. I may have to take more precautions about where I leave my digital fingerprints.

Looking back at his 8 year reign, one could think that the door hit him right in the face on the way in...
