This site is Beautiful and DRM Free.
Because it is a big Corp site. DG is owned by EMI/Universal,
I proceeded with caution.
As it turned out, for good reason. The press and the site are touting
1.29 a download for 326kps.Ok in the Classical world where movements
are 14 -20 mins long. This could turn out to be a good deal........Wrong.
for Instance Beethoven's 3rd Symphony has 4 movements and at $1.29
should be $5.16
This is how They broke it down:
Allegro-----14:44----$2.99
Adagio-----17:05----$3.69
Scherzo----05:44----$1.29
Finale------12:20----$2.69
Total---------------$10.66 for 4 tracks
Obviously you are paying by the bandwidth and not by the download
as stated..Their policy is not stated anywhere "clearly" on the site
that I could personally find..
I most definitely will not be shopping here.
