eMusic: UK P2P warning letter pact "smells very funny to us" - 09-05-2008, 12:44 AM

The UK detente between ISPs and the music industry hasn't attracted the same vociferous criticism that has followed other recent music industry actions; who could be opposed to ISPs merely sending out friendly letters to alleged file-swappers? this is not going to happen.

the discussed issue is all about money and music market. majors would like to use ISPs just to increase their profit, and obviously this could work out, since ISP is something you start from. while eMusic for one worries that IPS can intercept the content (and even collect it and store, though one does not like much to spell it out) and make money from literally nothing.

see the difference ?

MP3skyline archmage. Over 3 100 000 tunes - ain't it magic?
one, two - buckle my shoe, three, four - shut the door, five, six - pick up sticks, seven, eight - lay em straight
