Apple's been a little busy it seems, since the company just announced three all-new iPods, plus a few new colors and price points for existing products. From smallest to largest we have the PRODUCT (RED) iPod shuffle, which is accompanied by some other new colors, the iPod nano on the left up there, the iPod classic in the middle, and the iPod touch on the right.

This sucks; I just got the new iPhone (as a gift for a sig other) like a month ago, and now it's $200 cheaper. This will teach me to be an early adapter.

But I am liking the touch iPod - maybe I will have a good xmas after all. I wish there was an icon on there for mp3sparks. That'll be the day!! But I wonder if, since it has wi-fi, you could still download the songs from Sparks and dump into the music library. I am sure there is a wizard over there in the Apple basement who wrote a script to prevent just that particular offense.

If I buy one more i-pod related item, my wife will kill me. 160GB though.... Just got to download another 12GB of music and then I can say that my 80GB isn't big enough anymore (she'll never buy that),

Dave, you're going about this all the wrong way. You have to explain to her in terms that us women can truly relate to. Gigabytes? Bah!

You have to make sure to tell her that the bigger the better. Size DOES matter! She'll understand.

She won't only buy it; she might even buy it for you!!

It's not just the size dear, it's the content - size will only get you so far. But the content - and oh my, the potential - all Dave needs to do, it seems, is to show her how nicely her photograph will look as a screen saver. That's a whole other kettle of fish.
