the article linked in the article says "Papermaster's hire could signal Apple's intentions to build out a cloud-computing infrastructure to support things like MobileMe", but it's only speculation, and I don't know what it means anyway.

This 'cloud computing' seems to be the big thing at the present, everyone wants to get in on the act.

You are not alone! Apart from the massive news coverage in the UK, I somehow got on to the MoveOn mailing list a while back. They just asked me to "drop whatever you're doing and get on the phone". I wish I could There are a lot of us over here praying to our various gods
