Unhappy Adding money to alltunes - 07-16-2007, 05:06 AM

I am a new member to the forum and my head is spinning. I have been a member of allofmp3 since 2002, and while I can't tell you how much I've spent since, it must be a lot. I've referred countless friends to the site in all these years. I've been trying to add funds for months now, read all these threads and advice, but I have yet to find a comprehensive, precise steps how to add funds.

I signed up for mp3sparks a couple of months ago and I cannot add money.

Today I downloaded alltunes and my old credit from allofmp3 shows there, but I can't add money.

Someone please help me. I've read - and tried to understand the process - about webmoney, xor, whatever, but nowhere is there a comprehensive explanation. I have been going bonkers. Can someone please tell me the steps I can follow to add money.

Would much appreciate any help you can offer. Many thanks.

Sounds like you're able to log onto Sparks with your original user ID. If your only problem is that you can't add money, try installing Tor and enabling it when paying.

Get Tor from here: http://tor.eff.org/ If you are using Firefox, download the firefox extension "TorButton" It isn't that hard to set up.

If you are unable to sign up to Sparks with your current User ID, please let us know that as well.

Thanks for your reply.

First, I was not able to log into Sparks with my original ID, so I created a new one a couple of months back. However, on allTunes, I *was* able to login with my original ID.

I've installed torbutton on Firefox, but whenever I try to access anything with "Tor Enabled", I get "Proxy Server is Refusing Connections" and cannot access any page.

Thoughts?

I'm waiting to be migrated to mp3sparks.com but can currently see my "old" allofmp3.com balance in allTunes.

When I try to add funds using allTunes.com I eventually get the following error:

Not Found
/ps/chrontunes/all2chrtun.php

What now? Do I just wait to be moved to mp3sparks.com and try adding funds there?

Thanks.

I think with alltunes, if it does not work for you there is not much you can do to force it (not like mp3sparks & Tor). Probably best bet is to wait, unless someone else has some words of wisdom?

In a word, Yes. Your only other options are to buy an allpay pin-code or start a new Sparks account. But if you expect to be migrated soon, I wouldn't bother starting one.

Credit Card Error - 07-20-2007, 04:04 AM

I've gotten further using this (the Tor) method than I have any other time. But then I keep getting error messages after I input all my credit card info. (by the way, I'm not out of money! Not yet at least). Any ideas?

Are you being sent to Chronopay or E-Centru for processing. E-Centru only takes Mastercard despite the Visa logo they display. That could be your problem.

And for some strange reason a few forum members also have had to turn off Tor, when they reached the actual payment site (to make their bank accept paying the money to the credit card processors). Odd - but true.
