I discovered this yesterday, as well. It wasn't working through allTunes, but I was able to get preview working on the mp3sparks site.

Today, however, neither is working.

Given that mp3sparks is about the only full-preview store out there, I wonder what it is they felt they needed to improve?

Well, I'm subscribing to this thread and hopefully somebody will post the good news soon that the previews are working again. I can't imagine they would think it's good to have them entirely down for long -- I suspect their sales will slump at least a little bit if prospective buyers can listen to the material first. (I always listen to every track in its entirety several times, and ultimately buy only the ones I like, or at least don't dislike -- but I may be in the minority here.)

Why don't you ask Mp3sparks? Whats up and when will it be fixed.
We certainly can't answer those questions...

Someone already did -- the answer was posted in this thread.

Besides, when was the last time a company told you when service would be restored during an outage? You never set expectations falsely. If they knew, they would have said so previously. The correct response is ALWAYS, "we are working on this with top priority", with the optional add-on of "and will post an update as soon as we have more information".

Hence, why I'm hoping that somebody will eventually try again and post a message along the lines of "it works now".

For the record, not yet.

One thing you have got to learn about sparks/allTunes is that they work at their own pace.
During previous outages I don't think anyone here has had a satisfactory reply from them.
So the only thing you can do it to be patient and just keep trying - normal service will resume when it resumes!
And I think that's as much as anyone can say.

Calm down Kswartz, this is not the end of the world. And I do not
like your general tone personally.

We are lucky that site is even UP,just remeber how long they were recently down.Be a little patient and put it in perspective...

Good Afternoon,Ashley

I am fine today, thank-you Sir.

I just like the proper use of smilies(I am not a big fan of them) and
people shoudn't hide their real feelings behind them.I certainly don't...lol..
But I have learned to use them on this job to clarify my feeling or lack of them.
Thanks for all your great content today....

Glad to hear it.

I agree he was coming over a little curt, that's why I told him to be patient as we both told him it will be fixed in time.

As for the content I was just trying to make the place look busy.

I have been following your Alt-Female Country thread and I will have a listen to the artists the have been commented upon.
