Proxy settings in Alltunes?? - 08-26-2008, 01:54 AM

I cannot get a basic web-based proxy server to connect properly through the Alltunes program (I click on Options in Alltunes and select Connections tab). As an example, I tried using proxify.com by selecting "Use proxy server" button and entering "www.proxify.com" through Port 80 in the field but when I restart Alltunes, a Network Error results and the program will not start. I can only fix by deselecting the "Use Proxy server" button.
I am no Proxy expert so any advice on how to access Alltunes through a Proxy Server correctly would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Mongo,

At this time Alltunes and Sparks are down.

As far as the above, someone with some insight to your problem,
I'm sure will come along and help.....

Thanks for keeping on top of things Nightfly! I thought my ISP was starting to screw with me just after I had loaded up with vouchers from Jazzy. Now I just have to be patient....

... hopefully the digicrack will be back on line soon.

Maybe if we keep on mentioning this, our new (and/or newer) forum members will notice it all of a sudden: Down for everyone or just me?

Sadly this situation is all too familiar to us Sparks users.
It's just one of those things you learn to accept and wait patiently for it to come back
