Hi all,

Am new to this forum as, like many of you, I wanted answers to what happened to my beloved mp3skyline. The good news is that it looks like they're working to go online again shortly. Fingers crossed it will be sooner rather than later.

Hi paulc, welcome to the forum

I guess every cloud has a silver lining, and each time one of these sites has a problem, more people discover our happy little community We're very lucky to have Max from Skyline posting here; he says they'll be fully operational again soon, and that's good enough for me.

Well it seems that we might have 'lift off' in the near future....

I've had to resort to using traxsource (mega dear!!)...so can't wait for MP3Skyline to return.

Well, at least now there's an update on the site itself about the outage... with a word about compensating members' balances for the inconvenience. Even when the spam hits the fan, Max still takes care of his customers. Thanks in advance, and hope to see the site back in full swing soon.

gluteus maximus was somewhat right: we're moving to another locations and this could take certain time to update (DNS records at least). y'all will be able to surf our catalogue on the next few hours, and in the meantime we're working hard to enable all the functionality. it's quite a lot job to be done, and i really hope you understand.

thank y'all mates for your consideration, and here's some famous words to cheer you up :

p.s. i will follow up this thread, so please let's move on here, to avoid mess up.

thanks again, mates.

Hi Max, any idea when we will be able to log back into the private section?

Cheers

Hi trooper51.

I'm sure skyforger has more pressing things to take care of right now, than monitoring this forum...

He has put up a message on the front page of MP3Skyline and if this downtime takes 2-3 days more to rectify - or 2-3 weeks - I think you can trust that the MP3Skyline staff really is doing their utmost to get back online as soon as humanly possible

A message to skyline.

Until the site is fully operational, pls get back the sign site out of order.

Nobody has any use of a site if you cant log in or search.

Hi joris

Yes, it's very frustrating at the moment, but it's still possible to browse the Mp3Skyline catalogue, and the site is very well indexed by Google, so Google sitesearch works fine:

site:mp3skyline.com your search terms

Progress at Skyline - 03-18-2008, 12:02 AM

There's some sign of movement over at Mp3Skyline - user logins are working again, though preview, download and search are still borked. But it's progress

No kidding, with a nice bonus added to my balance. Almost made me forget the site is still sort of down. Thanks, Skyforger....
