Exclamation MP3Skyline Turns Into MP3Xclusive - 04-01-2008, 02:52 PM

It seems that MP3Skyline has changed its name and has now become MP3Xclusive (see attachment)

Furthermore they have introduced a Java downloader called Skyshare Manager, which probably is the surprise Skyforger "leaked" in the beginning of January of this year (see attachment)

More on this later today... (I'll have to test this first... )

The music search button does still not work, for me anyway. My credits have been transferred across Okay though,

Question 04-01-2008, 03:23 PM

Hi. I've downloaded the software, but still can't download any songs! Is this Mac compatible? The software is in the Applications, but can't see where there's any installation instructions.

Anyone having the same problem? Anyone got any tips?

Good news is that my balance has successfully transferred to MP3Xclusive.

Hi Paul,
can't answer any of your questions (but someone else will), but can you search for any artists (this is not working for me),
Cheers,
Dave C

Hi paulc.

I know it's still a beta version but sadly it doesn't work for me either

It tries to download something (maybe a download catalogue like allTunes does?) but nothing happens

Attached is the announcement of the new software (from the MP3Xclusive home page)

Thanks for letting us all know, solaris

My account and balance have been transferred ok, and downloaded the software.

I am able to search the catalogue ok. I chose one song for download to test it out. It downloaded fine but I can`t find how you open or launch the file.

Anyone else had this problem?

Red face Downloader doesn't work - 04-01-2008, 06:31 PM

Hi Max.

I can't get your downloader to work either

When I search for something... nothing happens - the application just stalls - and when I hit enter once again, I get the below error message, which even the Sun homepage doesn't have an answer to

javax.swing.text.PlainDocument cannot be cast to java.html.HTMLDocument

Downloading doesn't work either When I navigate to something that I want (using the application, mind you) and left click: Download - only 24 KB of file finds its way to the download folder.

I have removed Java and reinstalled it - and even rebooted my PC but to no avail

Operating system: Windows XP Media Center Edition Service Pack 2 (build 2600).

Java version: Sun Microsystems, Inc. - Java(TM) Platform SE 6 U3 Version 6.0.30.5

Regards, viracocha

Hi everyone, my first long awaited post. I have the same problems as this, the exception is I'm running Vista Business Pro. When I try to browse it just hangs and doesn't do anything.

Glad to see things are getting back to normal for mp3skyline(xclusive), thanks Skyforger for sorting out my account login too
