maxim, is that Skyshare Manager an absolute must to use your services, or
would any of the standard download methods also work, albeit less comfortable
and without the movies?

Henry,
unfortunately (or happily) Skyshare Manager is the only way to download music files.
Well. technically it's essentially the same routine as downloading files from the site (plus you can download the whole albums at a single click), you see. we don't think Software is a problem since it provides essentialy the same content, being advertised at the site.
p.s. you could just neglect the "Movies" tab if you'd like

max, you are totally eliminating a large (wonder if it is 50++%) of possible customers:
the ones that cannot / are not allowed / should not / will not install any program on the
computer they work on. make this a workplace, a family or friends computer, an internet
cafe - they are all out of luck with SkyLine - think about it.

Maybe the Skyshare software will come in a portable version too in the near future?

portable, a solution, but not likely to convince many customers. who will remain
prospective customers forever. just bad luck, more so for SkyLine, in my opinion.

Henry, I don't believe that 50% of prospective customers download new tunes at a workplace, friend's computer or an internet cafe. You generalize absolutely unnecessarily.

it also included 'cannot/will not', and there are many other reasons too.
overall, i do not think 50% is to high, but does it matter? if you are happy to install
progs on your computer that you do not fully know about what they do, and why they
constantly 'talk' to the internet, and to whoever there, so be it.
>> You generalize absolutely unnecessarily
might well be. but why dont we let reality be the judge: we will ( a ) see how long
SkyLine will keep up this system of keeping catalogue and download separate (actually,
on first thought, a brilliant idea), and ( b ) how many members they will have, say after
one year, compared to similar shops?
fair enough?

Shame you need money in your balance to get something thats free though.
3,000,000 tracks though. I guess that makes it the biggest, of all the open sites. Hope you paid Kirill well

Mp3Skyline are not in great standing at this forum presently. Therefore, I will refrain from making any more comments or analyzing what happens to them in a year. I was just commenting exclusively on the fact that I have never never heard of anyone downloading music at an internet cafe and also unlikely on a friend's computer or at work. Maybe that's just me.

I am a former and current user of MP3 Skyline (now MP3Xclusive). I am a new member to this forum. How do I send a PM (private message) to Max regarding the compensation he is kindly offering to give to the MP3 Skyline customers?
