Yes I wouldn' hesitate in recommending them again. Until a few days ago my answer would have been a resounding 'NO'.

Their catalogue for soul/funk/latin/jazz is the best, so what's not to like now that they are back up and running properly?

They are now far better than they were when I first found them - as you can now download all their tracks rather than the hit or miss version that was there previously.

Price could be slightly cheaper, but overall - very satisfied.

I would love to see them add more classic rock (60's garage/psych 70's punk etc) to their catalogue though.

The Best Selection - 08-22-2008, 07:20 PM

I would definitely recommend MP3Skyline because it has the best selection of any site. I don't know how they get such rare songs, but it is wonderful to be able to find such songs. I am so glad it is back up and running now, it makes me so happy!!!! I had almost lost hope that it would never get back to working well and I am glad to see Max is back to posting here.

At first I was not comfortable with the skyshare manager, but it seems to be good if that is how they have to do it now. I liked the old way better, but things change. It would be nice if it had the bit rate listed in skyshare manager.

I would agree that Skyline is worth supporting again and appreciate the lengths they've gone to to restore credibility. But Max, it really was TERRIBLE public relations to abandon this forum for so long while the site was down. Even if you were up to your neck in work trying to get things sorted out, it would have dispelled a lot of hostility if you'd just taken a minute to offer the odd reassuring word. I felt especially pissed off because I'd recommended Skyline so enthusiastically and for weeks it seemed like the site had just been left to rot. So promise you won't ever bale out on us again and we'll call it quits . . .

careful, careful on this one '' ... you won't ever bale out on us again ... ''

havent we had a very similar discussion not so long ago, who can/should/
should not
bale out of a forum without any reason/notice/hint? or do i mix
up things here, and that was the ''SEXY HOUSEWIFEs FORUM'' that i am
thinking of?

a bit of a two-sided sword, no?

greets - henry
