These 2 albums of Various Artists offer a diverse collection of
artists making them both a very good listen.
I preferred "Kaleidoscope Room 2" more with some artists I recognized
but both are really good for free.

"Really good for free" but the question is would you buy it if it was not free, probably not?

You missed the point...
The point here is for Emusic to introduce you to music not to sell you music..
( maybe potentially in the future)

and the answer is Yes I have bought some African compilations that "were" free but after a certain time they are no longer free.
and many of their free tracks in the past ,I was glad they
were free but would have also been glad to pay for them as well..

It all depends on your musical tastes and tolerance for different music.

If they ever give away any free "Megadeth", please let me know ASAP.

P.S. The real point I was making was with really good music/bitrate so cheap at the moment on mp3fiesta/mp3sale among many, it would have to be really superb/excellent free music to interest me, but I take your point.

No Megadeth at the moment but I'll let you know....

I tried emusic out,and I must say that i do like the site a lot.
The downloads are super fast,and the quality was just fine.

I disabled their download manager and was able to use my own download manager,something I much prefer to do.

I'll be back,probally to get another 100 free downloads,and then I'll subscribe to their monthly subscription.
I wouldn't be able to sleep well with a guilty conscious of downloading 200 free files and not subscribing.

But those free tracks you posted,whoa ,but if you like them,it's all good!

You must listen to them as complete downloads..Just a sample here
and there won't cut it..Yes they are bands that you never heard of ..but that's the point..I personally liked the Kaleidoscope Artists a great deal..

They have a new downloader by the way that I guarantee is the fastest
thing you ever seen...much faster then their old one and the old one was
pretty good.

and you're right, but I'll say in my own words,it's all a matter of taste.
and my point is to bring new free tracks to members attention like I promised
in past posts... not to promote musical taste one way or the other, but to share.
