cartless shops? - 06-14-2007, 03:38 PM

When I order an album I want a screen which gives me the links to each track on that album. I don't want to see a list of all the tracks I've bought but not yet downloaded, and I don't want the links displayed in some pop-up or other clever widget.

I know that mp3sugar and mp3stor work OK for me, but gomusic and mp3sale don't. Although allofmp3 was nearly perfect, they've recently changed the interface so that Memphis is a pain to use.

So, which of the many online shops *don't* use a "shopping cart" or "trolley", so I can Save As and separately ferret the URLs for each album I buy?

TIA!

MP3Sale has an option to purchase music in 1 click, without cart.
There's a button on each album called "download now", when you've selected all tracks and pressing on it - you'll get download links right after you'll press confirm purchase button.

That was done for users like you, who don't want to use cart....

musicmp3 is a good choice, no cart, displays all downloadable (purchased) links on the same page

Thanks, but like I said, that doesn't work for me. If I order a second album before I've downloaded the first, then I see a page with links to the tracks for both albums.

Hmm, not bad. Thanks for that 'un, dude. They even had an album I've not been able to find anywhere else: that's another sheet of vinyl replaced, only 94 still to go.

Oh bugger, the HTML's all on one line.

Well, you can return back to the album page, instead "my music" page - so you'll see the links only for that album... I can't understand the problem with viewing all tracks list, anyway...

Homebrew multi-site downloading scripts assume everything they see in one run is from the same album.

What is "Homebrew multi-site downloading scripts" ?
Anyway, as I previously mentioned - you can go to album page right after purchase to see all links for this album only on that page.

Homebrew in this context means "I wrote it myself", and it's what most people would call a downloader. Originally it was just for downloading from allofmp3, but now it works with several other sites instead.

Thank you for insisting that mp3sale.ru was doing what I needed. You're entirely correct and I've amended my broken software so it works just fine with mp3sale.ru now.

Next job: try to refill my balance there
