I know you have a sister site (rutunes) that gives a wealth of information regarding some of the other music sites, but it lacks artist/album/track counts, which I think would be a nice addition.

On that note, i've been having a hard time trying to figure out which site offers the largest selection of tracks. Is there one site that stands out to the community as a leader in # of tracks (the price per track doesn't really matter too much)

Don't let me be the one to say it.... but I don't think size matters Particularly because different sites specialize in different genres of music. Not sure comparing them on library size alone makes much sense. With respect to their other merits, the stores are very well reviewed.

In regards to the double post, i figured the recommendation for the idea should go in the thread of the idea =P

I ask the question because i really don't want to dish out $20 to 5 different sites to pull 1 song from each...=(

Then focus on stores that specialize in genres that interest you most. All the stores have the Top 40 stuff really. If reviews don't suffice, do some poking around. Seek for some obscure artist that interest you only. If a store has it, might be the one for you But what do I know, I've never deposited 20 dollars and downloaded 1 song.... which reminds me, I do have a balance in one store (that shall not be named!) for many months and I just can't get rid of it. So don't go shopping there

The information you seek is in the reviews themselves..This information about catalogue is mentioned in every review. So go back and start reading and you will find what you seek...and Vik is absolutely right it depends on your
musical tastes..but every review will help you with that as well.

Good luck on your journey and please in the future no double posting....
