A month ago I decided to give mp3stor a whirl, while waiting for aomp3 to get the funding kinks worked out. It started out ok, but my last two transactions have resulted in the following problems:

1)Missing tracks on album downloads. Customer service did not refund my balance, and only responded with an auto email. Two weeks and counting.

2)variable bit rates between songs on the same cd.

Stay away guys. I've got a $3.00 balance, and they can have it

I'm sorry to hear that

I have also had one small issue with MP3Stor and found that their customer service is not related to their site specifically but takes care of every site which SWREG administer. This is a problem they must correct.

My specific problem was that a payment of $25 didn't reach my MP3Stor account and when I confronted their customer service, they put the $25 into my MP3Fiesta account!!! Even if this was a little annoying, I didn't bother to make more of it.

They have a great selection of music on their site but they simply must do better, if they aren't going to lose some of their new customers.

am a mp3stor user and agree with solaris and you.. They have to do better..
I am there for the selection..at one time I did not care about the variable bit rates, but since I've been hanging out here my tastes have gotten a little bit more refined...lol..and it bothers me as well making their prices variable too,
which is not good..and their interface is not very good, no search by Genres..
It's really no frills..But I do stay for the selections..for Jazz Blues and Latin
they do have more than some of the others ..You know I had a similar problem
with allofmp3 I ordered a album 192 mp3 there was no mp3 tags..was in a different format...The difference being allofmp3 gave me back my money right away..they said they overcharged me and I got the new Airplane release a mp3 version for free..That's the big difference...excellent customer service when something goes wrong...But have you tried Mp3fiesta they are good
and inexpensive and have a pretty deep catalog..I think I will also let my Mp3stor bal. go out and use mp3fiesta more..But I still think Mp3stor has great potential , but my objective impression is that they are lazy...and hence the lack of quality control and work on their interface.

SWREG is the payment processor you are put through, when adding to your account at MP3Stor, MP3Fiesta and MP3Sale (among others).

Thanks ..now I see the big problem..only the money handlers are answering
questions, and no customer service for the actual individual sites..
