Unhappy Mp3stor question? - 07-29-2007, 03:44 PM

Hello to all,
I have a question about Mp3stor. I like this site alot. mainly because of the 80's metal & hard rock selection. anyway they just added a new payment option through the phone (SMS) onebip is who they are using. has anyone from the USA had this work yet? everytime I try it's supposed to send a text msg to my phone with a password in order to pay but i never get the msg. it says the service will work with any carrier (phone)..I emailed Mp3stor & 1bip..of course as usual niether one has replied. I started sending emails to Mp3stor almost everyday for the past 2 wks in regards to payment options. they have never replied.

I sure hope they straighten their payment options out. yeah I've been to most of the other sites mentioned in these forums but still no one I've run across has the cataloge for 80's & 90's hard rock & metal. not mainstream like aerosmith, guns & roses etc....example:
Danny Vaughn's music & Kevin Chalfant's, Waysted, Axe, D'molls. music stuff off the main path..

hope someone can shed some light on this or know of any specific sites I've not been to.

thx,

Hello Raptor,
I was a user of Mp3stor until recently I can not pay either I am also from the US ...
I tried to use the Onebip pay by phone service without success so I have given up and I have emailed them as well with no response...So I know of what you speak.
But if you want to discover new music sites at fair prices with great catalogs
you came to the right place just go to this link:
http://www.aom3.org/forum/music-shops/
It is the Fourum on alternative Ru. Music Sites..
You have many options. Visit them and see which of them suits you best.
Feel free to ask any questions you might have about any of these
sites services..
Welcome,

Nightfly

Onebip.com - 08-02-2007, 03:01 PM

Dear All,
Onebip.com is active with more than 50 mobile network operators, but in some countries we do not cover all of them. For US users I would recommend them to take a look to supported carriers list in the log in page.
Moreover I would like to remind you that if you have experimented problems in being credited on your account this is not related to Onebip that is only the payment processor and has no responsibility in delivering the purchased product.
I would invite any of you to report us problems in getting products they paid for so that we can notify this to merchants.
Best Regards,

Diego

Thank you and Welcome ..I am from the US and Verizon is not a option
but is a large provider, other members have stated this as well..Any
chance of adding them to your list of Network Operators.

Thank you,

I used to use mp3stor quite regularly until they started having problems with payments and also stopped adding very many albums (they used to add tons of albums on a daily basis) so I used up my balance and haven't used them since. There are so many options for us now.

Yes Ipodfan...I was a big fan as well..seems they were having
troubles over there beyond their control..Hope they are able to come
back and have options for the US..there is still some back catalog I'm interested in...and you are right..we do have many options, that this
site brings us on a regular basis...this is a good thing for all.

Take care,

Nightfly
