Mp3Stor sinking? - 07-08-2007, 11:17 PM

Having been a very satisfied customer of Mp3Stor for over a year, I'm a) puzzled to see it barely gets a mention here and b) afraid that it might be going the way of AOMP3. Suddenly the credit card payment option has vanished and not much has been added to the site over the past week. Does anyone know what's happening? They used to add huge numbers of albums every week and would often respond to requests. I'd miss it a great deal.
Also, regarding MusicMP3' sister site, where apparently you can pay via Paypal. Well, I tried, but I get referred to a page in German that doesn't look much like Paypal but asks for all your details. Might this be a scam?

Hi radioshoes.

When this forum was in its mere childhood, the first store in the Music Stores Section that we discussed was MP3Stor. Frankly I have no idea why it was never given a sub forum

For a few days I didn't have a credit card option on MP3Stor but now it's back and I'm transferred through their new payment processor: PrivatBank But I know this doesn't work for all

I also think that it is weird that their "added albums this week" have shrunk to a measly 36 albums

Their customer service is among the worst of all the Russian/Ukrainian stores (if not the worst), so I guess it won't help to contact them

Hi Solaris
Funny, my experiences with Mp3Stor have all been positive. My first download was faulty and they not only fixed it, they gave me five dollars credit too. And I've lost count of the number of albums (obscure stuff) they've found for me, even going to the trouble of apologising by email when they've failed. But I still can't find a credit card option . . .

I too have noticed they haven't been adding any albums. I have a little over $3 balance left and I think I'll use it up and stop using it. I'm being kept busy with Soundsbox.com as well as legalsounds.com and of coure, our favorite and the mothership, aom3.
