Smile MP3Va.com - 02-17-2008, 04:23 PM

It's been a while, since the last time I "hunted" down a new Russian online music store - but I stumbled upon this one a few minutes ago:

http://www.mp3va.com/

It looks promising (it sure has a nice layout, I think)

Hi Solaris and well spotted. I don't know about you but there's something familiar about the site but I can't put my finger on it Maybe I'm just going round the bend - waddya think?

Well, well, well,:

MP3VA.Com:
"Vselennaya Multimedia" LLC
Mail address: 121615, Moscow, Rublyovskoye Sh., 20 building 1
Tel.: +7 (495) 5455743

Iomoio.com:
"Vselennaya Multimedia" LLC
Mail address: 121615, Moscow, Rublyovskoye Sh., 20 building 1
Tel.: +7 (495) 5455743

Although they could just be using the same 'shell'.

Doesn't really explain why MP3VA appears fairly well maintained and Iomoio is stuck in a time warp

Sir Hirs,

A loose translation from Russian of "iomoio" (io moio ... I'd spell it "yo moyo" if I were transliterating , but it looks prettier the other way around ) is "oh my", or more appropriately "holy moly".... or even more appropriately "holy sh*t"

So, I don't think any normal rules apply

Question Sister sites: Iomoio and MP3Va? - 02-17-2008, 08:55 PM

How uncannily similar we think, Hirs

I sensed a familiarity too and instantly (well, a few minutes after spotting MP3Va) took a long look at the Iomoio layout to compare the two - but I didn't take the time checking "ownership"

mp3va.com = mp3sale.ru obviously

MP3skyline archmage. Over 3 100 000 tunes - ain't it magic?
one, two - buckle my shoe, three, four - shut the door, five, six - pick up sticks, seven, eight - lay em straight
