Sites with smallest mandatory balance? - 08-09-2007, 11:06 AM

Hi all

Here's my rant: I'm looking for a particular album. I found it on several music sites. The problem is: most sites ask you to buy balance credit and usually, the smallest payment is $20. This is way excessive when all you want is just one album. I mostly get stuff from mp3sparks, but they don't have many records by this particular artist.
I'm sorry, but I'm not going to spend $20 on a site when all I need is ONE album.

So my question is: are there sites that require small mandatory payments (like $5) or to pay only for the albums you need?

What's the best solution when you're looking for just ONE particular album?

Thanks for any help.

You seem to have done the research! What is the best solution you've found?

Well, you can top up your balance with some alternative method of payment on mp3sale.ru
Like DaoPay or OneBip - there's much lower minimum deposit for these payment options and they are available in every country (at least, the first one)

Hi Pastor,
Just topped up with the excellent $50 + $50 free offer, still going strong I see, waited 15 minutes and it has appeared on my balance, well done Pastor, and well done mp3Sale/mp3Million.

hello and good day.
please tell the name of the record and i can put in a request for you at mp3sparks. it might take a little time but they probably will be able to add the record.

if not i dont think 20 bucks is the end of the world. im sure you can easily burn up 20 dollars worth of music in no time. plus there is nothing wrong with spreading the wealth around to some other music sites

thanks for the post and let me know if i can help.

thanks,

Shadman

Hello Meganone,
I understand your point, some members are on a limited buget
for various reasons, and would like to spread that budget among the sites
with their diverse selections..Would you please let us know what you find,
as well as any members with ideas...I used to use MP3stor who had
a $15 min..but are now having funding issues for US customers.
Also Soundsbox has a $15 min..These are the lowest that I used,
but I'm sure members have had other experiences amd some ideas to share.

Hi and thanks for replying

I guess making requests is reserved to the elite members, too bad

Anyway, the record I'm looking for is "Temple Of The Invisible" by Robert Rich. It was released in 2003.

Thanks for the other comments and suggestions.
