Angry SWREG is pulling the plug on 4 of the online Russian/Ukrainian stores - 07-10-2007, 12:28 AM

It seems that the American payment processor SWREG has been threatened and /or given a large amount of money by the MAFIAA to pull the plug on at least 4 of the Russian/Ukrainian online music stores in the sticky

The victims (so far) are the following: MP3Sale.ru, MP3Million.com, MP3Stor.com and JustMusicStore.com.

As I have mentioned before: I really have no idea, why they are even trying to close these shops (instead of cooperating with them), since 99.9% of their customers would never use a RIAA approved shop because of the DRM and therefore would just return to P2P, BitTorrent or Usenet

MP3Fiesta was faster, anyway. They already had a second solution, so they just switched in a few minutes...

Concerning WebtoPay - not the best solution, just a temporary one for us...
They don't accept American credit cards and probably UK as well. (not sure for UK, but someone told me about that).

So, we're looking for another processor now, anyway.

MP3Fiesta is having problems too.

Iomoio is using Intabill as payment processor. Strange they have a FAIR license so why don't they use Chronopay?

Another strange thing: the Lavamus network is still down. What is happening?

Read this step by step manual on how to pay MP3Sparks using CMpass.

Hi HaMuse.

It is indeed strange

Maybe they are merging into a new Russian super download site with 5 million+ tracks... (just hoping )

Question The Lavamus network coming back up again? - 07-12-2007, 03:37 PM

For three days all of the Lavamus network sites have been down: JustMusicStore.com, MP3Legal.org, Lavamus.com etc.. Not responding at all.

Now on the other hand, you get the attached message, when you go to their site

Is this good or bad?
