Cool Top100.cn - 09-23-2007, 10:45 AM

Do we have any forum members that are either Chinese or know how to read Chinese, then it could be fun to have a short review of this site: http://www.top100.cn/eng.htm

I first heard of it a couple of years ago and had almost forgot all about it

That's strange I can get in no problem. Front page is mainly English. Clicking on the tabs at the top brings back some interesting results in both English and Chinese but I don't think the Russian sites will get too concerned about the titles on offer.

The bit I liked best was on the side bar where it says "website demo", click on that and that takes you to "Western Hits recommended". Here they have expected things like "Xmas Top 100", "Home Party Music" and a rather interestingly entitled "Pulchritude Housewife" However clicking on the link doesn't achieve anything other than take you to the top of the page. At first I thought the site wasn't optimised for Firefox, but IE displays the same behaviour.

Even in the Google-translated version it's mainly small question marks with a little English in between - but I have no trouble accessing the site, though

Wow. Phenomenal memory. I was so hoping you won't remember!
I'm afraid I can't ask her to review this - sorry - though she's a real sweetheart.

There's a perfectly good reason why, too

It is (believe it or not) perfectly legal and even approved by the big 4. To try to compete with Baidu, I believe
