U2-Joshua Tree Remaster - 11-24-2007, 03:37 PM

Hi All,

Has anybody tripped over the remastered edition of U2's "The Joshua Tree" yet? I believe it came out the 20th of November but I haven't seen it anywhere yet. Thanks

Love U2. One of my favourite bands. Saw them 3 times in concert. Looking forward avidly to their next album - but the OLD Joshua Tree is more than enough for me

Hey Bobwhite,

Is the new edition supposed to have new content or different mix..

what's your favorite U2 album?

Hey Night,

According to the latest issue of Rolling Stone, they cleaned up the mix, and also have added some "b-sides" . I believe a few of the "b's" are previously unreleased. The article also states that they will be remastering all of their other albums in time.

Hey Vik,

You are one ahead of me, I've only seen them twice. I think its worth picking up because of the remastered sound quality. I dl the new Zeplin, and you can hear the difference in quality immediately.

I'll think about it

Although I've gotta say I am more partial to their later material. Stuff they made in the 90s and 2000s rather than 80s. I guess their older stuff is just too overplayed. I've quite gone off it.

Also, Atomic Bomb was phenomenal. I can't wait for what they come up with next ! They are way overdue for some new stuff.
